Mythical Beast

Mythical Beasts are a species of Virtual Monsters that came around shortly after the creation of the Virtual World. Some of them originally belonged to the Ancient Beasts until the Ancient Beasts began to experiment on their own kind. As such, many of them resemble folk legends but, the main resemblance found in this group is of mythological creatures and cryptids. This includes creatures such as griffins, centaurs and unicorns. They have a species rivalry with Ancient Beasts and since have maintained a consistent struggle amongst each other. Mythical Beasts are very fond of humans but, don't tend to cause them any trouble. Mythical Beasts are known for discovering System Modifiers within the Virtual World. Out of all of the different species of Virtual Monster, they are the most sophisticated and civilized. They are often seen guiding humans in the right direction and typically guide them out of danger. They were the first species to explain to humans the laws of the Virtual World. Mythical Beasts have a very strong influence in the world of Virtual Monsters but, they just aren't as popular as the Divine Beasts. Even though the Divine Beasts are few in numbers, they are still very powerful. With this in mind, the Mythical Beasts are too busy fighting the Ancient Beasts to worry about politics. Mythical Beasts are one of the three creator species of Virtual Monsters along with Divine Beasts and Ancient Beasts. It is said that the creator species have the ability to rewrite the rules of the entire Virtual World.
