Cuisine

Cuisines are a species of Virtual Monsters that are known for being mistaken for real food. It can get somewhat confusing distinguishing these monsters from real food at times. As a consequence, the Cuisine species is often seen as prey to other more predator-like species of Virtual Monsters. They are often categorized by their relation to edible human food. This can include fruits, vegetables, meat and more importantly sweets such as birthday cake and snacks. Oddly enough, they have a keen sense of detecting Monster Food and can't actually be eaten by another Monster nor a human being. They come in a variety of flavors such as sour, sweet and spicy and can cover a range of meals from breakfast, to lunch, to dinner. Intellectually speaking, they are much smarter than most species of Virtual Monsters and most of their skills typically surround their ability to survive. They are recommended as a species to start off with due to their very docile nature. They can be a great species to begin with for beginner Tamers. They have a special rivalry with the Vegetation species. It is said the Cuisines are born when someone posts a secret recipe online and it goes viral. Cuisines are one of the the two edible species of Virtual Monsters along with Vegetation.
