Data Miners

Data Miners are an elite group of hackers that are responsible for pulling off some of history's greatest hacking spree's. It's said that they are able to get anyone information in a heartbeat. They are an elite group of hackers and their only goal is to seek information. They operate a business that allows anyone the ability to hack someone's internet. Rather it be a cell phone, a bank account or even one's private internet connection, they can do it. That being said, they only pull heists for money. Their main job is to make money. They don't care about anything else. Even with System Sector, the Virtual Monsters Association and IT Squad, the Virtual World is seen as a world of lawless freedom. This means that anyone with a Virtual Soul can do anything they want. This means that for the right amount of money, they will pull any job, even if it costs them their lives. They also promise 100% confidentiality between clients, which means no one outside of the contract will know about the contracts agreement or the content of their contract. Data Miners are in the business of collecting and selling information. Typically, they do not go out of their way to harm people and their practice is to get as much information as possible without the need for violence. This is why their group, while lethal, has been under the radar from most authorities.
