Sigma Stage

The fourth stage of Evolution for Virtual Monsters. When a monster has reached this stage of Evolution it has been considered to have reached full adulthood. While there is a higher stage of Evolution beyond Sigma Rank, Sigma Rank Monsters often do battle with both higher and lower rank Monsters. It is possible for Sigma Rank Monsters to defeat Omega Rank Monsters but, this battle will not come easy. It is not easy to accomplish this stage of Evolution as the method for achieving Sigma Evolution is considered to be a secret amongst Tamers. This is mainly to stop evil Tamers from achieving this level of power but, at one point, it was used to keep good Tamers from advancing their Monster's Evolution. Sigma Rank Monsters are unable to use Evolution-type System Modifiers. All Sigma Rank Monsters have the ability to Fly regardless of their Species.
