Alpha Stage

The lowest rank possible for a Virtual Monster. It is symbolized by the first letter of the Greek alphabet, "A". This is the first stage for most Virtual Monsters and is treated as their base form for Evolution. Alpha Rank Monsters are very childlike in both appearance and personality, as they tend to be immature and un-educated about most concepts of life. Despite this, with the right teachings and tutleage, it is possible for an Alpha Rank Monster to defeat and Omega Rank Monster in battle. Most Beginner Tamers are given an Alpha Rank Monster to begin their journey as a Virtual Monster Tamer. Alpha Rank Monsters are often a test for beginner Tamers to master taming. Alpha Rank Monsters are seen as the "Child" Stage in the Evolution of a Virtual Monster.
