Site Rules
Below are the official rules for the site. This includes how a member of this website should conduct themselves, as well as rules for how you should behave on the forums and anywhere else related to the site. We take these rules very seriously and generally speaking, this should be used as a guidelines for how to use the site. These rules can also be changed at any moment however, any revamps to these rules are only official after roughly one week since it's revision. Generally speaking, as long as you respect other members, it should be fairly easy to stay out of trouble. Act as if you would in real life. We really don't like banning profiles unless it's absolutely necessary.

Usernames and Accounts
Usernames are not allowed to have any profanity or sexually related words. They also cannot contain any racial slurs or language that would be deemed derogative towards a person's religious or ethnic background. You are allowed to have one account however, multi accounting isn't necessarily against the rules for now, since we currently cannot see a reason why anyone would want to multi-account. We have designed our games and system in a way that negates cheating in general, so having multiple accounts doesn't enhance your experience with our software.
When selecting a username, you ARE allowed to use your real name however, it's not mandatory. In fact, we prefer if you don't use your real name and instead use some kind of alias, or another username that you might refer to yourself as on another site. This is so that user's on other sites will be able to easily identify you. If you happen to go by your real name online, this is allowed however, impersonating an online celebrity or someone who isn't yourself, may result in a ban. We will first ask you to change your username and if there is no response, we will permanently ban your account.
In the event that a user or company has trademark or copyrighted a specific username, THAT username may be claimed by the corresponding client. Overall, be yourself, and don't be a fake. Faking someone's account online will result in a permanent ban after the Staff has discussed your account. We are highly against using fake accounts to paint someone's character negative, and any activity like this will result in a ban.
Non-Discrimination Policy
Any forms of discrimination is highly against the rules. This includes insults, harassment, derogative language, and/or prejudice against someone based on their race or religion. People of all walks of life are accepted here and truth be told, if you're a racist, then you probably shouldn't be viewing this site in the first place. Racism is absolutely not allowed. We do not discriminate based on your cultural background and this site should be seen as an equal opportunity. That being said, you have every right to keep information like that about yourself private.
Any attempts at building hate groups or recruiting members to an existing hate group, strictly violates the rules. Any activity in doing such, will result in an immediate ban with no appeal.
Avatars and Signatures
Avatars and Signatures cannot contain any content or material that violates any of the rules of the site. This includes NSFW content, nudity, obsessive violence, hate speech or any other material that would be considered not suitable.
Outside of this rule, Avatars can be as small as 50x50 and as large as 150x150. We do not resize avatars when they are uploaded to the site so, please be aware of this when you are making your avatar or having an avatar requested.
Signatures also have a maximum 350 characters and you are allowed to use BBCodes.
Popularity and Reputation
Popularity and Reputation are points that you can collect by participating on the website. This includes making topics, posting replies and liking comments. You also gain from recommending members and by participating in site-wide events. Reputation is a number to gauge how likeable a person you are on the site, and is just a superficial number to show how long you have been with us. It's kinda like bragging rights.
Popularity on the other hand, is a currency that can be converted into in-game currency. This can be currency for any game on our site or within our network. You can also use Popularity to buy digital add ons from the MW Industries Shop. Popularity can be earned the same way Reputation can be earned. Popularity should never be exchanged for anything else on or off the site. Anyone caught selling or distributing MW Industries Popularity currency off the site, will be banned no appeal. Any selling of Popularity is strictly prohibited.
Likes and Dislikes
Likes and Dislikes are a way of showing how much you agree or disagree with what a person said. When someone gives a like, they are increasing that person's popularity, and showing other members of the community, how likeable of a person they are. There are no consequences for receiving a dislike on a comment. Anyone is free to like or dislike any comment, as they please. Someone with many likes is considered to be a very popular person in the community. Feel free to abuse the dislike button as you see fit.
Staff
Staff are considered to be highly respected members of the community that enforce the rules, coordinate events, and are meant to solve issues within the community. These are actual employees of MW Industries - Game Development and Software, and should be respected like so. In terms of Staff, the member with the higher rank always has the last word when making a decision, and any decision made by a lower staff member can be overwritten by another as seen fit. This is for normal discussion forums. Amongst staff, lower ranked members have an equal viewpoint on creativity and decisions made with the site and company.
There are different kinds of Staff members, from Forum Moderators to Game Moderators to Customer Service Representatives to 3D Artist's and more. Every moderator is assigned a role however, it should be generally understood that all Mods have the authority to solve problems and issues in the community once they have come across their sight.
While Moderators do have a lot of power when it comes to the site, please remember that as normal members of the community, you still have the authority to report moderators when they are abusing their power and avoiding their responsibilities. This is the power that is granted to you as community members. Any Staff caught abusing their power will be suspended for a time period, and if the behavior persists, they will be removed as a Staff member permanently.
Staff members are typically selected from members of the community, so potentially ANYONE has the ability to become a Staff member.
NSFW/Illegal Content
Illegal content is completely banned from the community. What is designated as illegal content would be any forms of nudity, pornography, excessive or brutal violence, illicit use of drugs and/or narcotics, illegal selling of firearms, false news, political propaganda, hate groups, hate speech, exploitation of minors, cyber bullying, threats of violence, and other criminal activities. This goes for every place in the community, including private messages. You are not allowed to post these kind of things here, and this is not the community for that kind of stuff.
This includes anything that would be labeled as NSFW (Not Safe For Work). If you wouldn't look at it at your job, why post it here? (Unless your job is about dealing with that kind of stuff, in that case, just don't post any of that stuff here). If you come across this type of media on our site, please feel free to contact us or report it.
Spoilers
If you are posting something that may spoil the ending to a book, video game, movie, etc, then please use the tag *Spoilers*. Just common internet courtesy. This isn't really a big rule but, should be seen as community etiquette. Breaking this rule isn't that big of a deal either however, if you are consistent with rule breaking in general, this could lead to a potential ban. Keep this in mind.
Spamming/Flaming
Do Not Post content that is meant to harass or further bully a person online. This is an anti-bullying community, and we do not condone harassment of any form. This includes other members. If you have a personal problem with another member, then private message them however, if your messages get out of hand, that user has the right to report you to the Staff for Member Abuse. This is suppose to be a fun environment for everyone to spend their time. This shouldn't be the environment where people abuse other people online.
Member Abuse
If you tell a joke one time, it's funny that one time. If you tell this same joke consistently, to the same person, it has become abuse. Member Abuse is highly condoned within the community. Member Abuse can be labeled as contacting someone who's blocked you from another account, using vulgar or harassing language, or sending the user any content that would be considered illegal. These would all be considered forms of member abuse. If you are being abused by another member or Staff, report it to the right person. If it's a Staff Member, then report it to a higher Staff until you reach the right person. Likewise, if it's a community member, ignore them, block them, and if the behavior persists, then contact the Staff to deal with it. This user will be given a warning, and if they continue the behavior, they will be given a partial ban. If released from this partial ban, and the behavior continues, they will be given a permanent ban.
No Drama
NO Drama Y'all! This is an open and care-free community of gamers, hobbyist, and creatives. This is meant to be a platform where we can all get together and share our interests together. If your interests aren't what this site has to offer, then you should probably be somewhere else.
With that said, and continuing with our No Drama Policy, please do not bring affairs related from outside the site, or IRL that do not relate to any of the interest of this platform. At most, you should try to keep your private life just that, private. If anything, let this place be a form of escapism from the outside world. When you come here, you come here to relax, chill, and more importantly have fun, rather it be by yourself, or with your friends. Keep that in mind. If you follow all of the rules and just practice being a good community member, you will have a enjoyable time on the site.
